The most easily replaced bollard on the market.

This unique external bollard reduces on-going maintenance costs in areas that are often damaged. They sit in a sleeve enabling the whole bollard including core to be removed and replaced without the need for expensive groundworks.

These bollards are must for any location that experiences repeated damage by eliminating the expensive repair bills.

Environmentally friendly – This bollard is made entirely from hard wearing plastic, and incorporates the plastic offcuts and other waste generated during manufacture.

Positioning Guidelines

  • We recommend a clearance of 1200mm maximum between bollard centres and minimum 1200mm between bollard and surface to be protected
  • Typically position as demarcation line between pedestrians and vehicles

Installation

STEP 1
Excavate hole to 300mm deep using a core drill at a minimum of 200mm wide (figure 1).

STEP 2
Tape over the collar at the top of potted base so no concrete can fall inside the locking mechanism. Tape over the drain holes on the bottom of the potted base with degradable masking tape.

STEP 3
Place bollard assembly in position, checking height, angle and finished floor level lines up with the top of the potted base (figure 2).

STEP 4
Fill hole with concrete and let set allowing for finished floor level (figure 3).

Replacement

Medium Impact

STEP 1
Remove bollard cover (figure 2).

STEP 2
Insert the 500mm removal bar into the holes in the metal core (figure 3).

STEP 3
Using the leverage of the removal bar, twist the bollard clockwise until it releases. Once is releases continue turning and the bollard will lift from the potted housing (figure 4 & 5).

STEP 4
Replace with a new bollard and collar assembly, carefully locate into potted housing and turn anticlockwise until bollard locks into place (figure 6).

High Impact (Alternative Steps 3 & 4)

STEP 3
Using the leverage of the collapsed core push the core clockwise until it releases. Once is releases continue turning and the bollard will lift from the potted housing (figure 8 & 9).

STEP 4
Replace with a new bollard and collar assembly, carefully locate into potted housing and turn anticlockwise until bollard locks into place (figure 6 above).
